The Importance of Foundation
This is the conclusion of the Sermon on the Mount. Everyone hears Jesus' words, but the difference is in who puts them into practice.
The Wise Builder is the one who hears AND obeys. He builds his life on the solid rock of Christ's truth. When storms (trials) come, he stands firm.
The Foolish Builder hears but ignores. He builds on sand (shifting feelings, worldly trends). When trials come, his life falls with a great crash.
Key Lesson: Hearing God's word isn't enough; we must obey it. Christ is the only solid foundation for a life that lasts.
