The Wheat and the Weeds

Matthew 13:24-30
The Wheat and the Weeds - Matthew 13:24-30 | Bible Hunger

"Let both grow together until the harvest, and in the harvest time I will tell the reapers, “First, gather up the darnel weeds, and bind them in bundles to burn them; but gather the wheat into my barn.” ’ ”" (Matthew 13:30)

Judgment is Coming

Jesus explains that heavy judgment is reserved for the end of the age. The field is the world, the good seed stands for the people of the Kingdom, and the weeds are the people of the evil one.

God allows evil to coexist with good for a season to prevent uprooting the righteous prematurely. But a day of separation is certain.

Key Lesson: Do not be discouraged by the presence of evil in the world. God is patient, but His justice is final and inevitable.
