"“That servant came, and told his lord these things. Then the master of the house, being angry, said to his servant, ‘Go out quickly into the streets and lanes of the city, and bring in the poor, maimed, blind, and lame.’" (Luke 14:21)
God's Invitation
The master prepared a huge feast and sent invitations. But the guests made excuses: one bought a field, another bought oxen, another got married. They valued their possessions and relationships more than the master's invitation.
So the master extended the invitation to the outcasts—those who knew they had nothing and were hungry. They came and filled the house.
Key Lesson: God invites everyone to His Kingdom freely. Do not let the distractions of this world cause you to miss the greatest celebration of all.
