"“His lord said to him, ‘Well done, good and faithful servant. You have been faithful over a few things, I will set you over many things. Enter into the joy of your lord.’" (Matthew 25:21)
Faithfulness and Stewardship
God entrusts every person with different gifts, resources, and abilities (talents). He expects us to use them for His Kingdom, not hide them out of fear or laziness.
The first two servants took risks and worked hard to multiply what was given to them. The third servant buried his talent because he viewed the master as harsh. Jesus teaches that faithfulness is active, not passive.
Key Lesson: God rewards faithfulness. Use whatever gifts you have been given to serve God and others; do not bury your potential.
