"Wonβt God avenge his chosen ones who are crying out to him day and night, and yet he exercises patience with them?" (Luke 18:7)
God is Not Unjust
This is a parable of contrast. The judge was unjust and uncaring; God is righteous and loving. If persistence won over a wicked judge, how much more certain is the answer from a loving Father?
Jesus concludes with a haunting question: "When the Son of Man comes, will he find faith on the earth?" Faith here is synonymous with persistent prayer.
Key Lesson: Don't give up praying. Delay is not denial. God will bring justice for His elect.
