"Taking the child by the hand, he said to her, “Talitha cumi!” which means, being interpreted, “Girl, I tell you, get up!” Immediately the girl rose up and walked, for she was twelve years old. They were amazed with great amazement." (Mark 5:41-42)
Only Sleeping
Jesus was interrupted on His way, and the girl died. But delay is not denial with God. He redefined death as "sleep" for those He calls. He asks for faith even when the situation looks hopeless.
Key Lesson: Trust Jesus even when it seems "too late." He has the final say over life and death.
