Blind Bartimaeus

Mark 10:46-52
Blind Bartimaeus - Mark 10:46-52 | Bible Hunger

"Jesus said to him, “Go your way. Your faith has made you well.” Immediately he received his sight, and followed Jesus in the way." (Mark 10:52)

The Cry of Faith

Bartimaeus threw aside his cloak (his beggar's identity/security) when Jesus called him. He knew exactly what he wanted: "Rabboni, that I may see." His persistence against opposition is a model for prayer.

Key Lesson: Desperate faith ignores the crowd and cries out until it gets God's attention.
